East Coast Sales Manager (2665) Remote

Remote (Home office) – Required to travel to customer sites

This position will be expected to call on FABs, OEMs, and other Semiconductor supply chains within US Western region. The ideal candidate will have 10 years prior experience in a Technical Sales Engineering role. This position requires strong engineering and manufacturing knowledge. The ability to quickly gain a customer’s confidence while capturing their detailed data and providing effective solutions is critical for success in this role. Must be confident in presenting to large technical engineering groups and purchasing organizations. Prior experience with elastomers and vacuum chamber sealing is a must. Domestic and overseas travel is expected.

Essential Job Functions

  • Work closely with customers to directly to support providing solutions to all business requests
  • Interface with all internal teams – Engineering (US, Japan, and Taiwan), Customer Service Team, and Management to bring the “Voice of the Customer” into our organization
  • Understand and resolve customer issues as they arise in timely and concise manner
  • Strengthen and expand customer base through utilization of personal relationships while building new professional contacts to further expand our customer base
  • Become a “Trusted Partner” to our customers to explore additional opportunities and expand product lines
  • Use knowledge of production capabilities to advance sales
  • Maintain and improve technical knowledge through continued education
  • Responsible for supporting all Semicon business and total product range
  • Perform technical and sales presentations at customer sites
  • Comfort in ability to work with all nationalities and conducting international meetings with regards for multiple regional customs and requirements
  • Travel, both domestic and overseas, is necessary for this position

Critical Job Dimensions

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of Sales Engineering experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing, Mechanical Assembly, and Functionality from      both Fab and OEM side
  • Ability to coordinate multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience in a direct, customer-facing role required
  • Very strong presentation skills – Ability to communicate technical information to both         technical and non-technical members of customer staff required
  • Self-starter and extremely motivated
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Skilled in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally with flexibility
