Field Service-Customer Support Engineer (2646) Northern California

Our client is seeking an outstanding individual for a Field Service Engineer role.


Perform onsite/offsite support activities in North America.   Position requires on-site product installation, customer training, integration, maintenance, and repair for our line of Engineering Test Handler and Manipulators/Docking systems. Assume responsibility for customer satisfaction and promote and maintain positive relationships exercising good judgment in resolving customer issues.


Candidate must possess excellent organization and communication skills, able to schedule and prepare Service calls and supporting the Sales team, troubleshoot and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Provide pre and post-sales support (onsite and remotely), generate detailed service reports and conduct training and equipment demonstrations. 

Ideal candidate is a self-starter / learner, mechanically inclined, proficient with hand tools, knowledgeable with electronics, MS Office Software and familiar with ATE tester equipment.


Have a valid/current USA-issued Driver’s License, Passport and Covid-19 vaccination certificate.

Must be able to obtain clearance to enter various customer’s facilities, have flexibility to travel domestically and internationally with short notices up to 70% of the time, have a credit card for maintaining reimbursable travel expenses.

A minimum of two-year Technical college degree or experience in service/semiconductor test floor/lab experience.
