VP Sales & Marketing (2609) North Carolina

    Your Role

    • You will be responsible for growing the Company business within a predefined territory. Company is an operating system aimed at Fiber Internet providers. Therefore your activities will be aimed at Partners & Direct Fiber Internet Providers (Clients)
    • You will initiate engagement with targeted clients.
    • You will have to establish partnerships with key industry stakeholders/third parties to extend the reach of Company in the desired territory. These partnerships will include:
      • Industry consultants
      • Equipment manufacturers, for example, Nokia
      • Fiber Broadband Forums
      • Other complementary third parties
    • You will have to establish strong partnerships with key purchasing
    • decision makers and Partners.
    • You will be encouraged to exercise the AEX business solution approach,
    • focusing on the client’s needs and pain points rather than on what
    • Company has to offer.
    • You will manage the sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure.
    • Responsibilities within the sales cycle:
      • Facilitate & perform demonstrations of the Company platform
      • Formulation & submission of proposals
      • Advise clients during the decision-making process
      • Negotiation of commercial terms
      • Facilitation of contracting
    • You will play a role in refining the Company Go-to-Market strategy based on insight into client requirements & competitive landscape.
    • You will be expected to manage sales activity in alignment with business expectations & performance targets.
    • When appropriate based on growth requirements

    All you need is:

    • Bachelor’s Degree/ MA in business/marketing or related fields is an advantage.
    • 10+ years of sales leadership experience: A minimum of 7 years professional sales, sales management and/or account management experience in software, technology solutions or system integration sales to the telecom industry.
    • Must be a local Citizen in the US or a work visa holder
    • Location will be in North Carolina
    • Strong knowledge in Telecom and Network, with knowledge in products and services.
    • Proven experience in sales to the telecommunications
    • Experience in communication/presenting at the executive level is required.
    •  
    • Proven and established relationships with Executives (VP, C Level), or working experience for/or with enterprise companies.
    • You should be a “hunter” with proven experience running long, complex B2B sales cycle processes for large companies and a proven track record of closing large, complex deals.
