Vice President Sales & Marketing (2441) Home office

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Leadership team. The VP should have extensive strategic and analytical sales experience, providing strategic and operational direction to maximize sales revenues and meet organizational objectives. This is a very “hands-on” role that requires the ability to perform at both the highly strategic level as well as be willing to roll your sleeves up on day-to-day and project-based tactical levels. This is a highly visible role within the organization and requires an engaging and motivational personality that is focused on delivering results.


  • Fully responsible for developing and execution of the Sales team strategy and final execution
  • Manage sales representative relationships both in the US & overseas
  • Help create, develop, and close related sales opportunities for our largest customers
  • Lead, drive and motivate the team to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key partners
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline and forecast
  • Drive customer and market insights in support of key categories, leveraging competitive analyses and business trends
  • Promote and drive client relationships by providing thought leadership and consultation
  • Obtain and analyze feedback from the market to help drive the product roadmap and corporate priorities
  • Build both strategic and tactical plans and adapt them to changing market conditions as needed
  • Work with other members of the Executive Leadership Team to execute the Sales plan
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Board of Directors


  • Executive management experience as the top sales leader reporting to the President or CEO
  • Preferred strong knowledge of the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry with a deep knowledge of the global customer base
  • Track-record of sustaining profitable sales growth through a combination of increasing customer base, growing market share, new customer acquisition, cross-selling and margin improvement
  • Experience translating market dynamics/requirements into initiatives to tactically grow sales
  • Experience developing and expanding an inside sales function
  • Highly energetic and results driven
  • Significant domestic travel required
