RF Hardware Engineer (2275) California Bay Area

Responsibilities:

  • Develop RF circuits, sensors, and systems for auto-match products.
  • Create board & system level RF and high speed digital circuit design and evaluation.
  • Perform RF and high speed circuit simulation using tools such as HFSS, ADS, & SPICE and be responsible for board design and functionality.
  • Perform board level tests and work with FW engineers to ensure product functionality.
  • Analyze critical high-speed circuits for signal integrity and performance.
  • Document design ideas to build internal technology Wiki pages.
  • Design and implement test and calibration routines and fixtures.
  • Analyze and verify test results and improve test fixture HW and FW when necessary.
  • Assist in the development of internal IP & technology roadmaps.
  • Assist product teams to build and create world class auto-match products for the semiconductor plasma processing market segment.

Skills and Technical Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of RF circuit, system, or PCB board development experience.
  • Ability to design high impedance and 50 ohm RF circuits (<200MHz).
  • Ability to write simple test programs in C/C++/C#/Labview for developed hardware is a plus.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to layout PCBAs when necessary is highly desired.
  • Experience programming FPGAs is a plus.
