Regional Sales Manager (2605) Location open to TX, AZ, OR, CA

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Manages sales of the company’s products and services within a defined geographic area.

Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales opportunities.

Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
    • Calls directly on accounts in the Defined Region of the US to achieve and exceed territory sales quota
    • Develop positive relationships with clients
    • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
    • Provide customer quotes and follow-up promptly
    • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
    • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
    • Handle objections and close sales
    • Provides regular Sales Forecast reports to Management
    • Reports key performance metrics on monthly/quarterly basis
    • Provides Account Management to Key / House accounts
    • Regularly assesses customer satisfaction and Voice of the Customer (VOC)
    • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Calls on International Accounts as agreed with Senior Management
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Provides support on marketing programs, trade shows, industry forums, social media, etc to maximize company visibility within the US and maximize sales opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline

Minimum 5 sales experience with capital equipment products

Semiconductor industry experience preferred

Some chemistry knowledge preferred

PC skills with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Solid organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

TRAVEL:

Travel as required in the geography
