Regional Sales Manager (2496) Ohio

You will be a core member of the regional management team. This not only includes the management of the local sales team according to the strategic requirements of the company management board, but also the revenue generation by company coating systems according to certain forecasts and growth plans. You will be responsible for the development and the substantial orientation of the sales structure in North America. Further, you will be responsible for effectively communicating customer expectations and technical requirements to sale’s and technology teams of the business areas in the Headquarter. You will be required to establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

ln addition, you will need to carry out the following tasks:

  • Developing and revising equipment (and upgrade) sales proposals and quotations
  • Alignment meetings with internal key stakeholders
  • Understanding customer needs/technical requirements and providing profound input during the quotation and/or proposal development to HQ
  • Calculating budgetary prices and understanding the costs associated with the sales
  • Directing sales forecast activities and setting performance goals accordingly
  • Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Reviewing and analyzing sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Monitoring competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Overseeing and evaluating market research and adjusting the marketing strategy to meet changing market requirements
  • Developing new strategies, tactics, and plans for future company growth
  • Identifying and promoting strategic alliances with industry leaders and key customers
  • Establishing and maintaining an excellent corporate image
  • Identifying and promoting strategic alliance with industry leaders and key customers
  • Meeting with clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Development of programs to increase equipment and upgrade sales

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Technology (preferable Master’s Degree) and at least ten (10) years of experience in a similar role. You are experienced with working in a multinational team. Furthermore, you possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Domestic and International Travel required
  • Fluent in German language desired
