Eastern Regional Sales Manager (2246) Open Location

Reports to VP of Sales & Marketing

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for all sales and marketing activities related to a specific product division.
  • Manage all existing customers to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Drive new sales generated through tradeshows activities, conferences advertising, web site activities and other sources.
  • The Sales Manager is charged with all actions related to a new customer contact and follow-up, sending of product samples, market analysis, quoting.

The overall scope of the activities includes:  quoting, market evaluation, product proposals, customer relationships, monitoring, and reporting of results and follow-up activities.

  • Investigate new “marking” technologies to expand the business.
  • We are looking for a “curious” individual with a positive attitude who has the drive to understand the customer needs, find new solutions, and grow sales.
  • This position requires 7+ years of sales experience with a strong affinity for problem solving.  Some experience in the medical device industry and/or a pad printing company is desired.
  • The ideal candidate will have effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Other requirements are strong computer skills, strong people skills, detail oriented, a team player that can multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel within the Eastern US and Eastern Canada and be familiar with the territory.
  • Other desired attributes include the ability to read mechanical CAD drawing and an intermediate knowledge of MS Office
