Director, Service, Engineering & Project Management (2514) Ohio

You will be a core member of the Leadership Team. This includes the management of the local

Service, Engineering, & Project Management teams according to the strategic requirements of the global company Service, Installation/Commissioning, Engineering, and Project Management groups. Further, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities. You will be required to establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

ln addition, you will need to carry out the following tasks:

  • Ensure resource capability for growth of domestic service, spares, and upgrade business
  • Drive margin improvement in service and upgrade business through pricing definition and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in service and upgrade business
  • Alignment meetings with internal key stakeholders
  • Assist sales with definition, cost estimation, and promotion of service and upgrade proposals
  • Represent the company as the senior point of contact and primary service interface with the customer
  • Conduct regular service performance reviews with major customers, creation of improvement initiatives, and progress reporting to Global Management and Sales Team
  • Additional analysis and reporting as required by company leadership
  • Ensure team follows best practice and maintains safety requirements
  • Manage workload, overtime, and scheduling of staff
  • Assist in goal setting, skill enhancement and performance review activities for staff
  • Ensure that resources are properly trained to meet service objectives
  • Oversee and prioritize multiple parallel projects
  • Facilitate engineering activities between company and operations
  • Professional development of staff reporting into this position

QUALIFICATIONS

You have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering and at least ten (10) years of experience in a similar role. You are experienced with working in a multinational team.
