Business Development Manager (2190) California Bay Area

Job Description:  Business Development and Sales Management in the Solar, Semi, Bio Tech, Consumer Electronics and Emerging Technology Market equipment space.  This is a high level position within the company that offers the right individual the opportunity to develop, grow and manage key market segments for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Cycle
    • Lead Generation
    • Customer Presentations
    • Customer Qualification
    • Help drive Proposal Generation
    • Customer Management during complete sales and product delivery cycle
  • Develop new customer business as well as expanding business within existing accounts
  • Research and provide information to senior staff on current customers and prospects
  • Coach and direct inside staff on account activities and develop strategies for account penetration
  • Customer advocate – build strong relationships with key decision makers

Requirements:

  • Business Development/Technical Sales Experience (5+ years)
  • Actual Engineering Level Equipment Design and Build Experience (5+years)
  • Familiarity with the Solar, Semi, and Emerging Energy Equipment Market preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Sound business judgment and decision making skills
  • Ability to listen, understand, and translate customer needs and opportunities into appropriate solutions and proposals
  • Ability to clearly articulate the overall solutions Company brings to the market. This includes blending technology, expertise, and methodology into a cohesive value statement
  • BS Degree in a Technical Field, MS preferred
