- Qualify candidates by initial telephone interviews against the necessary job essentials
- Separate the potential finalists from the window shoppers and the underqualified
- Perform in-depth interviews with potential finalists
- * Reference Check performance with former supervisors and colleagues
- Check and verify candidate's credentials
- Test, rank and evaluate chosen niminees
- Arrange and coordinate interviewing schedules
- Prepare and counsel niminees to allow you to present your company in the best way possible
- * Prepare the client for interview by providing full pre-interview information, as well as the results of references and credential checks
- Debrief candidates after each interview, answering unaswered questions, and so on
- Defrief client hiring authority after each interview, assessing strengths, weaknesses, incompatibilities and so on.
- * Coordinate the next step with the Hiring Manager on possible offers to be made to the candidate, and set the stage for acceptance
- * Strategize with company in providing necessary information required for negotiating an acceptable offer
- * Reconcile any differences with the successful candidate to smooth the way for offer acceptance
- * Arrange with Realtors, Chambers of Commerce, relocation consultants, moving companies, and so on, to assure that the candidate (and significant other) is aware of important information about his or her new location
- * Assist the successful candidate in cleanly terminating current position
- * Work with significant other placement, if necessary
- * Follow up after placement to assure new employee integration
